| AOL to enter mobile market in India |

| Late last month I had reported about Google Mobile’s ambitious plans for India. Now AOL has gotten serious about its ambitions in India, especially the cell phone market. AOL through its wireless division, Tegic, is trying to develop localizations for the Indian market. They are mainly targetting Class B & Class C cellular circles where most people want to send and receive SMS in local languages. Tegic, has now launched T9 software to support Bengali. |
