Last month, comScore in its release had stated that the number of Indians over 15 years of age who had logged on to the Internet was 18.02 Million. Now the Internet and Mobile Association of India puts the figure at 37 Million, up from 33 Million in March-06. IMAI further adds that the active users are around 25 Million. Both the statistics vary widely in their figures.
