| Yahoo launches localized Messenger in India |

 Yahoo India today launched a new feature 'Indichat' in its instant messenger that would enable users to chat in Hindi and Tamil even without a language keyboard.
Yahoo! India Managing Director George Zacharias said,
"Internet is becoming increasingly popular and there is a big shift in the market towards providing Indian localised products. Ideally, we will launch the messenger in 14-16 languages in next few quarters"
How to access Indichat ?
Yahoo Messenger users can access this feature by logging into the Side Panel plug-in. You can also listen to Indian Language audibles. |
