| Internet user base now at 46 Million |

 According to a recent survey by IAMAI and IMRB, the Internet user base in India which includes users accessing the Internet from Home, Office, Cyber Cafe etc now stands at 46 million i.e 4.5% of India :-)
However, the active number of users is estimated to be mere 32 million, 3.1% of India. Consider this with 21% mobile subscribers in India. Also the number of broadband subscribers in India stands at mere 2.69 million subscribers.
The survey was conducted across several cities in India on a sample size of 65,000 users. |

46 Million! What a lame number ! This puts India at a shame...thanks to our ministers like Maran etc...
You know what ! We should provide IPTV services, that nmay boos the numbers to a new high :-)
