| BSNL Drops GRPS Data Plan Rates |

 BSNL has dropped GRPS rates for existing 2G GSM subscribers effective immediately. This is a big step as they are offering UNLIMITED Data Transfer Plan, however, their speed truly sucks, especially if you are used to fast web browsing and working.
Details of BSNL GPRS 2G GSM Packages
- 3 Paisa / 10 KB - Pay as You use
- 100 MB Download Limit - Rs 49 for Post-Paid users and Rs 54 for pre-paid
- 300 MB Download Limit - Rs 99 for Post Paid and Rs 219 for pre-Paid
- 1 GB Download - Rs 199 for Post-paid and Rs 219 for pre-paid
- Unlimited Data Transfer - Rs 249 for Post-paid and Rs 274 fo pre-paid
It will be interesting to see if affordable pricing will lead to increase in Mobile Internet Usage. My guess, not without good network speed. |
