Airtel starts giving in to RCom's Competative Tariffs in Andhra

Bharti Airtel, the most arrogant and greey telecom operator in India has finally started reducing tariffs.

it announced in andhra pradesh circle - Local and STD calls at 60p/min, for a recharge of Rs 62, valid for 180 days with rs 40 talk time.

however, this is just peanuts which they are offering, so we recommend that if you are buying pre-paid mobile, go for reliance or tata indicom or docomo.

telecom war hots up in andhra pradesh as Idea Cellular matched Simply Reliance tariffs.

idea cellular has launched local call / std call / sms all at 50 paise / minute with a validity of 12 months for pre-paid users upon recharge of rs 104.

still, reliance is cheap as they are collecting upfront just rs 48 and migrating you to the  new scheme.

competing with tata docom Aircel has also slashed tariffs in Andhra Pradesh for pre-paid customers...

now all local calls will cost 1 paise / second to any phone and any network

All STD calls  are billed at 1p/second any phone / any network but maximum of 1,000 seconds per day at this rate. After 1,000 seconds of STD rates will be 2 paise / second.

SMS, ISD Calls and Roaming charge as per normal prepaid tariff . you can always ADD some SMS pack.
