Reliance NetConnect+ Broadband has dropped tariffs and sweetened its EVDO based Data offering as below,

Reliance NetConnect+ Broadband Regular Plans

Rs 153 for 1000 MB of Data usage with Validity of 7 Day
Rs 255 1000 MB of Data usage with Validity of 30 Day [All 3G Operators offer similar package, I'm not very impressed]
Rs 350 1.5 GB of Data usage with Validity of 30 Day
Rs 449 2 GB of Data usage with Validity of 30 Day
Rs 650 3 GB of Data usage with Validity of 30 Day

Now compare all the above packs with that of Idea Cellular 3G Data Offerings, they are very similar. Yes! isn't it a good thing that they are matching the tariffs with 3G Operators ? Yes! they are definitely doing so, but the difference here is Reliance Netconnect+ has not paid few thousand crores in spectrum auction like 3G operators. So aren't they supposed to offer a lot more ? Sure, but they are offering more peanuts as below,

Rs 800 5 GB of Data usage with Validity of 30 Day
Rs 1099 10 GB of Data usage with Validity of 30 Day
Rs 1300 15 GB of Data usage with Validity of 30 Day

If they are UNLIMITED, why do you specify the Data usage ? Well, it is only until then that you get speed between 256 Kbps to 3.1 Mbps after which it will drop to around 128 Kbps for the rest of the billing cycle. I'm not very impressed with these plans as I carry data card for laptop and not for heavy usage, which will be unloaded on to Optical Broadband.
