The GSM Wireless industry witnessed subscriber addition of 7.6 mn, declined 10% MoM. Net adds for leading companies like Bharti, Vodafone was substantially down by 28% and 29% MoM respectively. [Data Excludes RCom and Tata DoCoMo] This downtrend in net GSM subscribers over few months shows saturation in the market. There was no major impact of MNP on the net subscribers on telecom incumbents.
