Google has seen strong growth in Android phone activations. Earlier, in November, the company noted that there were 550,000 daily Android activations, and over 200MM Android devices activated worldwide. On December 21, Google’s Andy Rubin noted that there are now 700,000+ Android devices activated each day. And after Christmas, Mr. Rubin noted that on 12/24 and 12/25, there were 3.7MM Android devices activated.
