    Non Voice Revenues Can Double in India - Rest of World at 40%

    Non Voice Revenues with major part of it being from Data Services, Asian Telecom Giants derive approximately 40% from the same. Here is a Comparsion of Indian Vs Other Telecos in Asia on Non Voice / Data Revenues

    India - Airtel 14.3%, Idea 13.7%, Reliance Comm 20% Aircel 17%
    China- China mobile 33.5%, China Telecom 44.5%
    Australia - Optus 46%, Telstra 42% and VHA 42%
    Malaysia - Digi 29%, Maxis 44%, Clecom 35%
    Singapore- Singtel 41%, Starhub 33.8%, M1 35.9%
    South Korea - SKT 30%, LGU+ 25% and KT 26%

    The global players mentioned above have 3G taken up by the customers, while in India 3G is yet to take off.

    Reliance is at 20% because of its EVDO services, I guess TTSL is also at the same range.
    Aircel is doing good because of its 2G unlimited packs!
