Re: Reliance Wireless WiMax Broadband - Plan Details and Contact

    Hi All,

The information provided above is good but one critical information about the services is not mentioned.

Reliance Wimax Serrvice people are unfortunately the worst people ever in the customer care industry.
To give you an idea.. The Sales people took the request for connection on 3rd July and promised the connection to be done by 15th July.. when nothing happened (and after chasing them) 2 novice guys came on 17th July and declared the Area as NOT FEASIBLE.

Irony is that there is already a connection in my apartment. Then 2 days later a so called SENIOR TEchnician named Suresh came and said that no area is NOT FEASIBLE and so 2 guys came on 21st and after marathon attemt of 6hrs finally (AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) declared the area as NOT FEASIBLE.
These 2 guys showed me the Wimax Tower (line-of-sight not more than 1KM).

Top of that after a week the people present the cheque which was they took as Installation charges is presented in my bank for realisation.

I was asked to call Anshul Rastogi and Sujath Kumar of Relaince but no one ever care to pick the phone. Even they do not respond to my emails.

Atleast they can tell me how many more days I have to wait to get the connection.

Do not fall into the trap of Sales People. They give tall promises that you will get the connection in Bangalore but the ground reality is that Reliance has not made enpugh towers operational to support the customer base taht they expected in Bangalore.

Result: You have to wait endlessly and get yourself frustated as no one care to respond to your requests.

This was the pre-sales service story.

Continue to read the post-sales story...

One of my colleague got the connection with in 10 days and was very happy. The next day the POE(Power on Ethernet) adapter burnt to death.
When he tried connecting to the people who came to install they said they cannot help and directed him to the customer support. which concurred the pre-sales support experience.

It wa svery hard for him to get them convince that Wimax is actually launched in Bangalore and he has got one.
After long discussion, he was told they cannot do much.. he has to wait for 3-4 days and then only they can say how many more days it will take.

He was forced to write to some big people in Reliance to get POE back but it took 4 days.

    This is post-sales service.

I have no words to explain more on the EXPLARY SERVICE provided by Reliance Wimax

RELIANCE IS ONE OF THE OPERATORS WHO ARE PROVIDING THE POOREST SERVICES AND ARE ALSO NOT INTERESTED ANYMORE THAN JUST TO PROVIDE CONNECTION...
