Microsoft’s Windows Vista will launch in Jan-2007. Here is an excellent review and requirements for a Windows Vista.
Though the pricing for stand alone version appears to be on the higher side, upgrade won’t be expensive. The GUI is irresistible and reminds me of Apple MacBook.
