Bharti Airtel 4th Largest in World

India’s integrated telecommunications company, Bharti Airtel has become the fourth largest telecom company in the world behind China Mobile, China Unicom and AT&T in terms of subscriber base.
Bharti Airtel’s customer base has moved above the 75-million mark. The subscriber figure includes Wireless, telemedia [Wireline] and enterprise services.
In a separate yet related development, TRAI has warned Bharti Airtel to provide interconnection to Reliance Communications GSM network which the former along with other members of the GSM lobby have been denying and demanding a separate interconnect agreement.
