Birlas offload another 8% of Idea Cellular

The Birlas have sold another 8% of their stake in Idea Cellular to UK based asset manager, GLG Partners. This time the deal is worth $213 Million. After this sell off the net holdings of Aditya Birla group in Idea Cellular is down to 65%. C. Sivsankaran holds 1.7%.
